Warranty Policy
Effective date: 14 August 2026
This Warranty Policy explains how warranty support is handled for products and services purchased from Pooja Computers. Warranty coverage varies by brand, product, model and service. Customers should review the warranty information supplied with the product and on the invoice.
1. Manufacturer Warranty
Where a product includes a manufacturer or brand warranty, the warranty is provided by the relevant manufacturer and is governed by that manufacturer’s warranty period, conditions, exclusions and service procedures.
Warranty diagnosis, repair, replacement or other service will be provided by the manufacturer’s authorised service provider or authorised service centre. Pooja Computers does not independently extend, replace or alter the manufacturer’s warranty unless a separate written warranty is expressly stated on the invoice or quotation.
2. Warranty Period
The applicable warranty period begins from the purchase or invoice date unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise. The duration may differ for the complete product, battery, adapter, display, accessories, consumables or individual components. Please refer to the invoice, product packaging, warranty card or manufacturer’s official warranty terms for the exact period.
3. Proof of Purchase
A valid purchase invoice, product serial number and any manufacturer-required warranty registration or warranty card may be required when making a warranty claim. Customers should retain the original invoice and ensure that serial-number labels, seals and identification markings remain intact.
4. How to Request Warranty Assistance
For warranty guidance, contact Pooja Computers with the following information:
- Customer name and contact details;
- Invoice or order number;
- Product brand, model and serial number;
- A clear description of the problem; and
- Photographs or videos where relevant.
After reviewing the information, we may direct the customer to the relevant manufacturer’s authorised service provider or service centre. Transportation, onsite service and turnaround time are governed by the manufacturer’s terms and service availability.
5. Warranty Exclusions
Subject to the manufacturer’s terms and applicable law, warranty may not cover:
- Physical damage, accidental damage, cracked or broken parts;
- Liquid, moisture, corrosion, fire, excessive heat or environmental damage;
- Electrical fluctuation, lightning, improper power supply or incompatible accessories;
- Misuse, negligence, improper installation or failure to follow operating instructions;
- Unauthorised repair, modification, tampering, opened seals or altered serial numbers;
- Virus, malware, data corruption, password issues or third-party software problems;
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage and deterioration through regular use;
- Consumables and items having a limited operating life, unless expressly covered; or
- Any other exclusion stated in the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
The manufacturer or its authorised service provider has responsibility for diagnosing the product and determining whether a claim is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
6. Repair, Replacement and Turnaround Time
The remedy available under a valid manufacturer warranty may include diagnosis, repair, part replacement, product replacement or another remedy determined by the manufacturer or its authorised service provider. Pooja Computers cannot guarantee a particular remedy or completion date where the decision, parts or service are controlled by the manufacturer.
Any estimated turnaround time is indicative and may change because of diagnosis, part availability, logistics, holidays or the authorised service provider’s process.
7. Data Backup and Privacy
Customers must back up important data and remove confidential information before submitting any computer, laptop, storage device or other equipment for diagnosis or warranty service. Warranty procedures may involve formatting, resetting, replacing storage or reinstalling software. Except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, Pooja Computers is not responsible for pre-existing data loss or data loss resulting from manufacturer-authorised diagnosis or service.
8. Accessories, Software and Licence Keys
Accessories, batteries, adapters, consumables, pre-installed software, third-party applications and licence keys may have separate warranty or support terms. Activated software and licence keys are generally not returnable or replaceable, subject to remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Repair and Software-Development Services
Any warranty or support period for repair work, replacement parts, installation, configuration or custom software-development services applies only when it is expressly stated in the relevant invoice, job sheet, quotation or written agreement. Such coverage is limited to the stated work or deliverable and does not cover unrelated faults, new damage, misuse, third-party changes or matters outside the agreed scope.
10. No Return or Replacement Policy
Products are generally sold on a no return and no replacement basis. Manufacturer warranty service is separate from a retail return or replacement. This condition does not exclude remedies that must be provided under applicable consumer law for goods or services that are defective, damaged, materially different from their description, incorrectly supplied, counterfeit, deficient or not delivered.
11. Statutory Rights
This policy is intended to operate together with applicable Indian consumer-protection law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or overrides any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
